St. John the Apostle MCC in Fort Myers has launched a powerful year-long,
monthly March for Love and Peace. The first march on January 31 drew
participants on a two-mile walk through the community, sharing messages of
love and peace. The next march will take place on February 28—all are
welcome to join this ongoing witness.
Church of the Trinity recently welcomed their many community partners
during worship, reaffirming a shared commitment to service for the new
year. These partnerships reflect Trinity’s intentional mission to foster
diversity, strengthen outreach, and take church beyond the walls.
The MCC Tampa programming team is busy creating community through Yoga,
Book Club, Movie Night, Veterans Dinner, Holy Hiking, Bingo events, Dance
Parties, and more. Their recent Valentine’s Dinner supported the church’s
Food Pantry ministry—combining fun, fellowship, and service.
Rev. Terri Steed Pierce of Joy MCC has begun her doctoral project titled
“Finding Our Amen Amid Lament: Queer Preaching from Habakkuk in the
Aftermath of the Pulse Tragedy.” We celebrate this important work and her
continued commitment to healing, justice, and inclusive theology.
MCC Key West is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Cooking with Love this
February! Volunteers past and present gathered for cake, balloons, and a
group photo in honor of three decades of faithful service to the community.
