DESCRIPTION:St. John the Apostle MCC in Fort Myers has launched a powerful year-long\,\nmonthly March for Love and Peace. The first march on January 31 drew\nparticipants on a two-mile walk through the community\, sharing messages of\nlove and peace. The next march will take place on February 28—all are\nwelcome to join this ongoing witness. \nChurch of the Trinity recently welcomed their many community partners\nduring worship\, reaffirming a shared commitment to service for the new\nyear. These partnerships reflect Trinity’s intentional mission to foster\ndiversity\, strengthen outreach\, and take church beyond the walls. \nThe MCC Tampa programming team is busy creating community through Yoga\,\nBook Club\, Movie Night\, Veterans Dinner\, Holy Hiking\, Bingo events\, Dance\nParties\, and more. Their recent Valentine’s Dinner supported the church’s\nFood Pantry ministry—combining fun\, fellowship\, and service. \nRev. Terri Steed Pierce of Joy MCC has begun her doctoral project titled\n“Finding Our Amen Amid Lament: Queer Preaching from Habakkuk in the\nAftermath of the Pulse Tragedy.” We celebrate this important work and her\ncontinued commitment to healing\, justice\, and inclusive theology. \nMCC Key West is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Cooking with Love this\nFebruary! Volunteers past and present gathered for cake\, balloons\, and a\ngroup photo in honor of three decades of faithful service to the community.
